48 hours in Paris: where to stay, dine and drink
Two days, three palaces and the best tables in Europe. A weekend in Paris planned from the Atlas, for one or for two.
Where to stay
Choose between three palaces: the Ritz on the Place Vendôme, the Crillon on the Place de la Concorde, or Le Bristol on the Faubourg Saint-Honoré, with its garden and rooftop pool.
Day one
Lunch is the secret of the three-star restaurants. Book Arpège, near the Musée Rodin, where Alain Passard cooks with vegetables from his own gardens.
At seven, a drink at Bar Hemingway inside the Ritz. Then dinner with the Seine below at Plénitude in the Samaritaine building.
Day two
A slow morning, then lunch in the grand dining room of Le Cinq at the Four Seasons George V.
For the evening, the Marais: an Art Nouveau-inspired room at Bar Nouveau, among the best bars in the world, and a late drink at Danico near the Galerie Vivienne.
